Davidson County Real Estate Areas Defined:
Davidson County is broken into 8 different areas. When searching Davidson County you need to know which area you should choose. The eight areas are defined either by major highways and interstates or the Cumberland River. See the picture below for the eight different areas. Use the descriptions below the map to help you locate where the your desired area is located.
Area 1 - The right hand border is Murfreesboro Road which runs all the way into Nashville. The left hand border is Interstate 65. Cities or communities included in Area 1 are :Antioch, Berry Hill, Brentwood, Crieve Hall, and South Nashville.
Area 2 - The right hand border is Interstate 65. The left hand border is Charlotte Pike. Cities or Communities included in Area 2 are: Belle Meade, Bellevue, Belmont/Hillsboro, Forest Hills, Green Hills, Sylvan Park, West Meade, and the Vanderbilt Area.
Area 3 - The lower border is Charlotte Pike. The upper border is the Cumberland River-West. Cities or Communities included in Area 3 are: Bordeaux and West Nashville.
Area 4 - The lower border is Cumberland River-West. The upper Border is Clarksville Pike. Cities and Communities included in Area 4 are: Northwest Nashville.
Area 5 - The left hand border is Clarksville Pike. The right hand border is Dickerson Pike. Cities and Communities included in Area 5 are: Goodlettsville, Joelton, North Nashville, Whites Creek.
Area 6 - The upper border is Dickerson Pike. The lower border is Cumberland River-East. Cities and Communities included in Area 6 are: Goodlettsville, Inglewood, Madison, Rivergate.
Area 7 - The upper border is Cumberland River - East. The lower border is Interstate 40 Dickerson-Lebanon Road. Cities and Communities included in Area 7 are: Donelson, Hermitage, Old Hickory, Percy Priest Lake.
Area 8 - The upper border is Interstate 40 Dickerson-Lebanon Road. The lower border is Murfreesboro Road. Cities and Communities included in Area 8 are: Antioch, Airport Area, Hickory Hollow, Percy Priest area.
